As a local painter, digital imager, photographer and visual artist working from MotherX Studios, Michael was a full participant of Hackney WickED Open Studios in 2017 – showing one of his pieces at the artists’ Group Show in Here East, and (very visibly) opening up his studio to many visitors from 28-30 July, who were the first to view some of his newly developing collection of paintings, ‘Fragments’. He has this exhibition opportinity thanks to becoming the well-deserved winner of our Hackney WickED Art Prize 2017, with the support of Hackney WickED, Stour Space and Arts Council England.
